Destination Wedding in Europe — but Make It a Fairytale

Cathrine and Donovan have decided on a ceremony in Prague soon after their engagement. However, planning a destination wedding in Europe can be tricky — especially when you have high standards, but live across the globe. That's where our team comes into play.

A Fairytale Wedding Come to Life

The newly engaged couple envisioned their destination wedding in Europe as a magical celebration steeped in history and romance. With guests traveling from Texas to Prague, Cathrine and Donovan trusted us to turn their dreams into reality. We spent a year and a half fully immersed in the wedding preparation process, securing the perfect location and discussing our decisions together. Cathrine and Donovan are a wonderful, gracious couple, and we cherished their confidence in our team. Months of intense remote planning truly brought us together and we were excited to welcome them to Prague for the first time.

An Unforgettable Pre-Wedding Experience

From the moment the soon-to-be-newlyweds arrived in the Czech capital, we focused on making the week leading up to the wedding as memorable as the ceremony itself. The festivities began with a traditional Czech lunch at a cozy pub, where the wedding guests indulged in traditional Czech delicacies such as goulash or roast pork, and, most importantly, learned how to tap their own beer.

The fun continued on a private boat cruise on the Vltava River in the heart of the bustling city. With twinkling lights, delicious catering, and an immersive DJ set, the cruise was set for success. This blend of exciting moments, heartwarming atmosphere, and a touch of anticipation perfectly set the mood for the upcoming wedding day.

Magical Ceremony in a Place Like No Other

Months before the wedding, we designed a precise moodboard that captured Cathrine and Donovan's vision, incorporating the romantic elements of their location of choice — the Lobkowicz Palace at Prague Castle — into every detail of the wedding. Our creative concept now came to life.

The wedding ceremony took place in the stunning Ledebour Garden. Even though we feared the grey skies and worried about potential rain, ultimately we were lucky enough to keep the ceremony outside as planned. Cathrine descended the grand Baroque staircase to the garden, creating a moment that was nothing short of iconic.

After the wedding ceremony, the wedding party went to the Imperial Hall, a breathtaking ballroom wedding venue, for the wedding reception. Decorated in tones of gold and cream, the hall glowed, transporting guests into a real-life fairytale while brimming with beautiful flowers.

The dazzling reception was a feast for the senses. Guests were treated to a five-tier wedding cake, signature drinks, and a decadent sweet bar featuring an impressive tower made with macarons.

The Fairytale Continues

For the after party, we prepared a lighted dance floor in the palace's second wing and an array of exquisite cocktails to choose from. As the night progressed, the windows of Lobkowicz Palace glowed softly, while the guests danced the night away together with the bride and the groom.

Cathrine and Donovan’s fairytale wedding was a testament to the power of love, thoughtful details, and of course, the beauty of Prague. We hope the couple and their guests will cherish these memories forever. We know we will.
