A Great Love Story Deserves a Grand Mansion Wedding Venue

Suzie and Henry live between two homes. One in China, the other one in Prague, where part of their family resides. The grand wedding we planned for them aimed to unite these two worlds into one at a beautiful mansion wedding venue in Prague.

A Wedding Across Continents

We worked with Suzie and Henry for an entire year, discussing their visions, dreams, and also the high standards they set for themselves. A grand wedding for over a hundred guests in three different languages is no small feat, so we collaborated with nine coordinators to make it happen. Both the bride and groom have a deep connection to family and cherish their shared traditions. We designed their wedding with a vision of classic elegance in the grand gardens and halls of Troja Chateau in Prague.

The most important things are best discussed in person. That’s why we met for a tasting of the menu and wedding cake. However, since Suzie and Henry placed complete trust in us otherwise, we paid great attention to all their wishes, even the unspoken ones — especially making sure all their family members felt warmly invited and at ease despite cultural barriers. This is why we sent out three variations of the wedding menu in advance, encouraging guests to choose according to their tastes and preferences.

Baroque Chateau in a Sea of Flowers

Our team of leading creatives faced a high bar. Both the bride and the groom have refined tastes and love vintage and timeless design icons that stand the test of time. At the same time, we worked with the Baroque backdrop of Troja Chateau, which could easily have slipped into over-the-top opulence. Therefore, we kept to soft pastel tones and classic flowers in the design concept, which perfectly complemented the decorative frescoes in the Imperial Hall while adding a touch of lightness to the wedding.

We welcomed the wedding guests to Prague with a private sightseeing boat cruise on the Vltava River. Suzie and Henry greeted their loved ones onboard with a glass of champagne. The guests were treated to a lavish buffet with fresh seafood, colorful canapés, and a cocktail bar. The cruise was followed by a mood-setting photoshoot of the groom and the bride in a radiant red gown right in front of the Rudolfinum concert hall.

Here Comes the Bride… in a Rolls-Royce

Suzie began the morning of her grand wedding just as a bride should — at a ladies’ party with her bridesmaids in a luxurious hotel suite. Our makeup artist and stylist took care of her complete look, pampering the other ladies and ensuring perfect styling for everyone before they were chauffeured to the ceremony venue in a white limousine.

The entire wedding seemed to be made up of iconic moments, like this one. Photos of the bride and groom by the majestic fountains. The slicing of the light pink cake that seemed to bloom right before our eyes. The guests touched by personalized gifts, selected just for them. After hundreds of hours of intense preparations, these moments were the ultimate satisfaction for our entire team.

An After Party To Get the Whole Family Dancing

Even a classic and elegant wedding can (and should) culminate in a lively evening celebration, and Suzie and Henry’s ceremony proved this as well. We created an impressively lit evening lounge in the stables of Troja Château, where bartenders served exquisite cocktails, including a signature drink crafted especially for the newlyweds and their big day. The entire family and all the guests gradually hit the dance floor. Seeing those who had traveled halfway around the world to celebrate Suzie and Henry’s love, it was clear from their excitement that the journey was well worth it.
