Royal Romance Wedding for Cathrine and Donovan

“Shortly after getting engaged, my husband and I decided on the Prague Castle wedding venue. Among the wedding agencies in Prague, we found only one that met our expectations — Boutique Weddings. We realized that Světlana is a true expert in her field, and we were excited to be planning our wedding with someone who also became a close friend. We had a vision for our wedding, and Svetlana created the most amazing moodboard for us, executing it down to the finest detail. When we arrived in Prague, we were absolutely blown away by Světlana’s efforts to make us feel welcome.

Throughout the week, in addition to managing events and preparations for the wedding day, she ensured we had everything we needed. Besides organizing a special tour of all the locations for us, she arranged two additional events for our guests: a lunch at a traditional brewery and an unforgettable boat cruise. Even with such high expectations, the wedding itself left us breathless

Behind the Scenes

The Prague Castle wedding venue hadn't seen such a fairytale wedding for a long time. Cathrine and Donavan dreamed of a magical wedding in the romantic setting of Lobkowicz Palace, and their wedding guests flew all the way from Texas to be part of their special day. It took us a year and a half to turn this fairytale into a breathtaking reality, during which we worked closely with the couple to bring their vision to life. Cathrine and Donovan's arrival in Prague — a city they had never visited — marked the start of the in-person phase of preparations.

We welcomed the guests at a cozy bonafide pub, where they enjoyed Czech cuisine and learned how to tap their own beer. Another highlight was a private boat cruise on the Vltava, which became an unforgettable party. All of this preceded the actual wedding, which topped everyone's wildest expectations.

The luxurious set of wedding invites featured an ornate design matching the frescoes in Lobkowicz Palace. Such thoughtful details truly set the tone for the event. The wedding ceremony occurred in the stunning Ledebour Garden, where Cathrine descended a grand Baroque staircase. This iconic moment was followed by a reception in the Imperial Hall, offering breathtaking views of Prague's rooftops. The tones of gold and cream transported the guests to a fairytale, and the five-tier wedding cake brought this experience to a whole other level. We rounded off the night with signature drinks, a decadent sweet bar flaunting a macaron tower, and a lighted dance floor in the palace’s second wing, where Cathrine, Donavan, and their guests danced the night away until morning.
